December 29, 2007 – It’s been weeks since Rose had worked the sheep – too snowy, icy – and so with a bit of a thaw, I took her out this afternoon into the muddy, smelly, pasture. She was so wound up she barely knew I was around, then she settled down. She is extraordinarily intense and she has the sheep in hand these days. Be glad when we can go out and graze again, as I miss it, and so does the iPod. Poor Paula just showed up until New Year’s, and is whistling in the kitchen as she cleans up the extraordinary mess in there. Glad to see her here. I am hoping to go camping in Merck sometime this week.
