   “Dog Days, Dispatches from Bedlam Farm,” my latest book released last week, has hit the
New York Times bestseller list, to be published in the July 15 Sunday New York Times Book Review.
   It debuted at Number 15, right below Pope Benedict’s book on Jesus of Nazareth. This seems oddly appropriate. I thank the people and animals who hang out here, readers and supporters, and the many people at Random House who have fought so hard for me. Now, back to the goats, who have flies on their de-horning scabs.
