Warm, sunny, remarkable day. Talked to Anthony, as I do every morning. He’s installing a concrete desktop in Glens Falls, and it is awesome. He is taking an architecture course at RPI which is very neat. Annie is off to an auction. Maria is off visiting friends.
Paula the wife is working on her book. Emma the daughter is working on her baseball book, and is going to Taiwan. Paula the sheep is better, she butted Rose and then joined the flock. I have never seen poor Rose so flummoxed. She and Paula the sheep have been working together for five years, and no way Rose will harm her, but neither has she ever been defied in quite this way. She seems unhinged, running up to me, which she never does during herding. Well, we all have to face our limits at some point in life, no? Goats coming soon. I have a broody hen hiding in the silo garden. Do I want another chicken?
